By default, your video and audio recordings are stored locally on your device, and we cannot gain access to those recordings. The only time we may gain access to your recordings is when you explicitly authorize us to view your recordings during a tech support call for troubleshooting purposes.
Lorex Cloud Storage plans include strict security controls and encryption to ensure that your video and audio recordings are not accessed. Lorex does not access your data without your explicit consent.

If you use a Lorex Cloud Storage Plan, we have protections in place to prevent unauthorized access to your video and audio recordings.

Home and Away allows you to trigger events depending on your location. While we will store the boundary you provide us, your precise location is only ever on your phone.

Push notification thumbnails are optional and are removed after 10 minutes, and event list thumbnails are removed after 3 days. These thumbnails do not grant us access to any of your recordings or devices.
Motion notifications and events through your mobile app display a thumbnail to give you more detail of activity around your property. These thumbnails are stored securely in our cloud and are transient to us.
